  Iglesia  
 
This place is ideal for the tourist to get to know country - life first hand. You can practice adventure travel, go fishing or even take part in activities concerning rural customs and traditions. However, the high point of the visit is “San Guillermo” Natural Park, one of the world's most important nature reserves because it houses endangered animals like the "guanacos", "vicuñas", "zorros colorados", "pumas" the "ñandú" and the "cóndor".

  Pismanta´s Thermal Spring  
 
Pismanta is 187 km away from the city of San Juan and it is an internationally well - known thermal center. Its warm waters (45ºC) are sprung from volcanic activity and are highly praised for its healing qualities.

  Rodeo  
 
This is Iglesia's best - known tourist attraction which gives the visitor a wide variety of accommodation to choose from: hotels, cabins, hostels and camping sites. Rodeo presents excellent weather conditions with low humidity and warm temperatures all year around.

  Tudcum  
 
A picturesque small town, with houses made of adobe, Tudcum is characterized by plantations of apples, nuts, peaches and figs. It is also famous for its high-quality knitting products like quilts, ponchos and saddle bags, among others.

  Cuesta del Viento Reservoir  
 
This dam is a magnificent blue mirror of crystal water surrounded by an immense and spectacular mountain range. It is thought to be one of the most ideal places for wind-surfing given the strong and powerful wind that blows consistently and non-stop.

  Jachal  
 
This is a very peaceful and traditional town. People celebrate “La fiesta de la Tradición " (the Tradition party celebration) each year. This is a folklore parade party full of bright floats and exotic shows. You can see a National Historic Church where you can find a leather statue of Christ on the Cross crafted by Indian tribes from “El Cuzco" in Peru and brought to San Juan in 1783. You can also indulge yourself in the extraordinary view of “Los Caucanes” dam, fit for fishing.

  Huaco  
 
This was the birth place of the famous poet Don Buenaventura Luna. The economy of this town was based on the production of flour and the old mill circuit has been declared National Historic Monument.
